love Sale-A-Bration!

I followed Lorri Heiling's tutorial but changed up the look to suit my friend's personality.

I LOVE how it turned out!

PPA127 Sketch Challenge

Do you ever find yourself scratching your head when you need to come up with a card design?
Paper Pals Arts has a sketch challenge on right now, and if you hurry over there you will catch the
current design to inspire you! Here is what I came up with.

 

ahh... fresh vintage

As I have said before, anything vintage is my favourite! This new Sale-A-Bration stamp set
called Fresh Vintage, is one I had to add to my collection.  This designer series paper Everyday
Enchantment, coordinates with the stamp set - can you stand it!! And all of my new favorite ink
colours are featured in the paper as well - Calypso Coral, Pool Party and Lucky Limeade.
This beautifully designed card is one I spotted by Krista Fenton. I did not take the challenge and
try to punch out my stamped images with the Blossom Bouquet triple layer punch.
What I found easier was to first punch out the blossoms, then with my handy stamp-a-ma-jig tool
stamped my image onto each blossom. I also chose to use the greeting from another one of my
go to sets, On Your Birthday.
Notice the new Framelit? LOVE the Labels Collection (from the Occasions mini catalogue).
I have tried a brand similar to these and found them hard to use. These are a snap, no learning curve required.

easy events

Easy Events is a stamp set for almost any occasion - birthday, baby, thank you, wedding,
Christmas and more. All the images are similar in size to the birthday one I have used here,
making a quick card a snap!
I learned how to create this card over at Linda's Stamping School, and will be making up a set
to have on hand for when an occasion arises!!

hearts and chocolate

I LOVE using the new Sizzix Framelits from Stampin' Up!'s Occasions Mini Catalogue.
Cutting out these heart shapes was apiece of cake with my Big Shot die cut machine. Have a look at the video to see just how easy it is!
